Mine does the same thing, but in every kind of weather and I have brand new ignition system.(opti, plugs, coil, wires)

Might want to have your starter tested.

I've got a new fuel filter too, but the same thing still happens.

You should try a new fuel filter (cheap/easy to change) and check the fuel pressure.

It sounds like you have an injector that is leaking.
It is let fuel to drain into 1 or more of the cylinders and flooding the engine. I would would put on a fuel pressure gauge turn the key on and watch the guage. It should read somewhere around 43 psi. Wait for the pump to shut off, then turn key off. Watch to see if the fuel pressure drops.

lot of the guys I see in here are runnings SVO injectors, but most of their cars have alot of mods. I would run the stock size, other wise you will have to reprogram the ecm to run with the larger size injects. as of what brand, I'm not sure which brand to recommand. I hae had to replace any of mine yet. bosch, svo, or maybe accel. do not put use ls1 on a lt motor, becaause they are smaller injector do to the psi difference.

It also could be the fuel pressure regulator.

could be....how hard did you spray water on the front of the block? does it only do it at startup or does it run good sometimes and then do it? when my opti went it looked fine when you scanned it but every once in a while the rpms would flutter really bad from about 2k-3k. if it only does it when you start it and then runs completely fine then it most likely has something to do with your computer being in opened/closed loops.

Ruogh Start

I have read that the opti spark system for the 93-95 models had a flaw. When they get wet they run rough or not at all untill the system drys. The replacement opti spark systems have been fixed.

93-95 have unvented optis. they can buildup condensation in them and not run properly. some people have luck and they work after they dry out and others don't.
