Help me with my CAT problem.......
Is it worth the extra money to buy a high flow CAT or will the OEM CAT do just fine?? I need to replace BOTH of my CATS and was just thinking about buying some high flow ones. Does anyone here prefer the high flow instead of OEM? Could you possibly show me some good brands.......
Also since my car is a 95 California car I have two CATS... Will it be ok to just cut off one of my CATS so that way I will have to only buy one instead of two????
TIA

It depends on how "legal" you need to be, and of course, how much $$ you can spend. Do the restrictions where you live prevent you from moving the cat's location or modifying the number of cats? If so, a stock replacement Y pipe is your solution.
If you can move the location of the cats, but cannot change the number, then take a look at Random Technology's dual cat Y pipe. Part number #943003 fits your car. They also make a 953003, which is the same thing but in a stainless version.
If you don't have to worry about changing the number of cats, then you could get any off road pipe with no cats and install a single high flow cat behind it.
If you plan to add headers anytime in the future, make sure you choose a solution that will work with the brand of headers you get.
Here is some information explaining how cats work and what "high flow" can really mean. The stock cats on your car flow pretty well and are built to last a while. How many miles are on your car?
