My camaro z28 5.7L has not been running properly for quite some time. Vehicle is stock. Car does not have the power it should. It does run better when it is cold. As vehicle warms up, car runs with less power. I have spent money trying to fix the problem and been to different mechanics. I've changed injectors, plugs, dist cap, wires. Fuel pressure has been checked and is OK so I'm told. Vehicle has no vacuum leaks so I'm told. I have the Hypertech power programmer and it does make vehicle faster. But same thing. Even with programmer on vehicle, car still runs better cold than warm. So original problem is still not solved. Vehicle runs slighlty better with new injectors, AC Delco. Anyone have any Ideas?

 

It really needs to be looked at by someone who can monitor the pcm and see what it is doing. You can learn to do this yourself with a laptop, a special cable and some free software.

 

you did the cap and rotor thing perhaps you should have changed your entire opti.
