HELP !!!! Im a girl

OK so lost only key (chipped) to my 96 camaro LT1 6 speed. So long story short my ex told me to get the **** out and i wasnt leaving without my car that i just got back cause he sold it and i bought it back so anywayi had somebody pound out the ignition cylinder were key goes thinking i would be able to drive out of there well that didnt happen . How do i get it all out and replace it:

A GM dealer should be able to make a replacement key based in the VIN (assuming no one changed the PASS-Key components at some point in the past 20 years).

Or, since the ignition cylinder may be damaged beyond repair, there are only 15 different resistance pellets for the key. You can buy resistors to make up the various values, and test them one at a time. There is a rod from the cylinder to the ignition switch, that would have to be moved to the "start" position.

Shoebox has a table of resistor values, and a diagram of how to connect them to two wires in the steering column.
