help, i blew up my engine
I went through a horrible nightmare.... driving down the road and KAboom!!!
rod through the side of the block. My engine is toast.... i need help in finding where to get a rebuilt engine..... here is the problem, i live in canada, and there are no places to buy a rebuilt engine from (not for my 1994 camaro lt1)
I need help, names of rebuilders that will sell me a complete engine, used engines that any of you know about, web addresses, phone numbers. I have searched ebay, found very little. Please help me out on this. Will 95,96,97 lt1's bolt directly into my car? How about.........LS1's???

Not sure where you are up there in Canada, but check out these guys in Edmonton:

They apparently specialize in F-bodies, they could probably help you out

Re: help, i blew up my engine
As long as you heads are ok then you only need a new shortblock. Everything else on your engine should be fine...well maybe not the oil pan. Try a junkyard or search around this site it think golen makes good shortblocks. Yes 93-97 lt1 engines should be fine...all of your connections ect...didnt get destroyed.

Re: help, i blew up my engine
Thanks Eric @ victory racing. I checked out your website, and the race engine you build are way out of my price range. i am looking for a used engine that costs no more than US$1800. If you got something in that price range, let me know.
