Help with heads and cam

I finally have another daily driver so I can start tearing down and building up my other ’97 Z28. I need some advice on a few things, primarily heads. Here’s a list of installed mods:

Suspension – SLP Level 1 suspension package
Exhaust – Borla cat-back (part # 14555)
Water Pump – CSI LT1 Electric water pump conversion (part # 170-901LT1)
Induction – LG Motorsports Cold Air Induction (CAI) w/ K&N Filter, GM 1LE intake elbow
Shifter – Hurst short-throw shifter (GM option)
Rear – Strange 3.73 gears, Ratech complete gear installation kit, TA Performance rear end cover girdle and performance stud kit, Red Line synthetic gear oil w/ GM differential additive
Clutch – SLP clutch package (pressure plate, disk, t/o bearing) It’s about time for another clutch
Fuel Pump – Racetronix fuel pump kit with high pressure pump and Series II wiring harness
Cooling – SLP fan control switch

Here is a list of parts that are still in the box ready to be installed:

JetHot ceramic coated long tube headers (1 Ύ” primaries, 3” collector)
Hooker JetHot coated 3” y-pipe
O2 simulators
COMP Cams Pro Magnum hydraulic roller lifters (part # 875-16)
COMP Cams 1.250 TIT. Super lock retainers (part # 728-16)
Crane Gold Race Extruded 1.60 rocker rollers
ISKY Cam racing valve springs (part # 235-D)
OEM GM valve spring spacers used on all ZZ3 Series 350 HO engines. The spacer is 1.35" OD x .561" ID x .050 thick (part # 10185066)

I need to get the heads ported and polished. What numbers should I go with on the porting, and is there someone in the SE Georgia area that can do it? Also would like some advice on what cam to go with. Thanks.

my advise is to contact lloyd Elliot at nighttrain66 and get his input, knowledge is power and information is free! I have a set of Le2 heads and a XE233 cam with basically the same supporting mods and the power was great. I now have it apart and just upgraded to bee hive springs (do it right the first time) and going with a brett baur custom cam on a forged 355

Just do a search on here for LE setups. LE1, LE2 etc... the setups are all strong putting out 375+rwtq and most times over 400rwhp.
