help with ecutout install needed
I was wondering where to put the 12v wire. What would be the best thing to run off of. I am mounting the switch right above the cig lighter. Please help me soon, because im doing it right now. Thanks, Michael.

Why would you want it to ALLWAYS be hot?
I'd splice the wire for the little light in the center console. That one has power when the key is on, and it retains power for about 10 minutes after the car is off and the doors aren't opened.
Plus it is backed up by a fuse.
