Re: HELP!!! car wont start

Sounds like you might have diagnosed your own problem. That being the ignition switch. Especially since it doesn't seem to be working right.

Re: HELP!!! car wont start

guess i will start checking wires tomorrow... if a ground or something was unhooked would it act this way? It ran perfect before i parked it... ran about all day long. I had my old codes pulled earlier today... These were codes that had shown up in the past... no current ones were flashing... 32-egr failure, 36-hi-res failure, 73-force motor current, 90-torque clutch error

i don't know what those are... doubt they would be they reason since it ran and started several times after the code check

Re: HELP!!! car wont start

I'd figure out what is going on with the ignition switch before anything - since that seems like the easiest to address. Sorry I'm not much more help than that - but hang in there...you'll get answers tomorrow when people are checking the site.

Re: HELP!!! car wont start

If you turn your key to the "run" position and your dash lights do not light up, but your radio still works, it is usually a sign of a bad ignition switch, the electrical part. Its above your steering column and usualy costs around 20-30$ if I remember correctly
