HELP car wont start
If it is your pump, you are going to have to drop the tank to deinstall the stocker and install new one.
Advise you pick cheap siphen and remove most of the fuel. It's heavy.
Actually, having a qualified mech do it, if you can afford it, would be my druthers.
Ran mine dry one time, but I guess I was lucky.

It's really easy actually. A cutoff wheel is less than an 1/2" in diameter, and there's a good 1" of space between the trunk pan and the tank. If you take your time and do it right, and most of all use common sense, you'll be fine. Once you have the access panel cut, removing and reinstalling the pump is fairly simple, as long as you have a good set of directions, or a website to help you along the way.
