Help, Car Running, Surging other Problems

Please help!!!

Need Input.

This past Tuesday, I got my car running, but there are a few problems.

1.) The car would not keep running if i let go the gas pedal. So what we did is we adjusted the trottle stop screw in the Throttle body, and mechanically acclerated the car a little. This fixed it, yet it still hunts for idle for a bit, then it settles down. I asked PCM4Less to program the car for a 1,000rpm idle.

2.) In gear, the car surges quite a bit, it wants to take off on its own will.

3.) The Transmission shifts fine but it takes a long time to shift in 4th when I ask it to. I drive on 3 at lower speeds below 55mph. Although I have been hesitant to smash the pedal, it almost seems that the car hesitates to downshift, unless I manually move the lever to the gear I want. Could this be the cause of an unadjusted TV cable?

4.) Also could you please describe the feeling of having a 2800stall, this is my first time driving a stalled car, all my cars have manuals. It seems that the car is hesitant to downshift unless I smash the pedal or manually move the lever. Seems to hesitate under 2800 rpm, but it is not ignition related because the engine revs smooth as hell, and pulls strong.

I am frustrated because I do not know what is suppose to be normal anymore.

Also the car spins tires like crazy if I hit it beyond the 2800stall rpm speed. I am waithing for my drag racing rims to fit to my ET STreet's.

5.) And lastly, not to sound like a moron, but how in the world do you check an auto fluid level? 700r4 has a capacity of 9 qts right?

I checked while at idle after driving a bit, check the dipstick and it was in the hot crosshatched area of the stick, this means it is OK? Right.

Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!

Could be a bad IAC motor.

Make sure its plugged in snug.

Or swap in someone else's.
