have a 95 camaro that I have been having issues with where i randomly got spark and sometimes didn't then the car would stall randomly and i'd wait 10-15 min. and the car would start back up and other times it would take days, and when i accelerate it would bogg down and backfire and shoot flames... so I replaced the opti and it was doing the same thing so I put the car away for the winter... I brought the car to the shop in the beginning of the spring and they said they fixed it because a wire was not connected so it ran fine for about a week and then it was doing the same thing so I brought it back and they ran more tests and said it was a bad opti. I got a new one and put it in and again it ran great for about a week no problems ... Now I'm having the same issue where the car boggs down and there is a loss of power. I replaced the opti twice now, the car stays at around 43 lbs of fuel pressure and i replaced the wire from the opti to the connecter at pcm to try and eliminate that also put another computer in the car and did the same thing. what else can I do? I have an aftermarket ignition system ( Fix Your Opti-Spark in an Hour or Two ) but according to their diagnostics It is functioning fine and i also replaced the module on this twice to be sure... http://www.delteq.com/images/1013.jpg

 

I'd suspect the Delteq. They went out of business at least 5 years ago, and there were many reported problems with the system. There were some cars that wouldn't run right no matter what Delteq suggested or replaced, and they were giving some people their money back for the systems that wouldn't work.
