Help with BCM plugs, please.

I need to remove the body control module on my 97 Z28, but I can't figure out how the connections come off. I'm being extra cautious because I don't want to break anything. Can anybody tell me how the connectors come off and how to get the BCM out? Thanks.

Same problem here. Everyone can tell you what it does and where it is. But I cant find any posts, or any replys on how to get it out.

It's been like a year and a half, but if I recall correctly, it was pretty easy. Once you get under the passenger dash, it is right up there near the door. I think there are either 2 or 4 plugs that have to be taken out, and I think they were the kind where you have to use a screwdriver and lift up the clip. I could be completely wrong though since I'm pretty fuzzy on it.

It took me a while, but I finally figured out how to remove all the plugs from it. Just be gentle. You also may or may not have to remove the round cover to the A/C blower near the firewall to maneuver it out. I remember I took it off, but I don't remember if I needed to or not. I just took it off so I can clean the trash out of the blower.

I know this has been of probably NO assistance, but hope it helped in some way. Changing the BCM cleared my problem up perfectly.
