HELP ASAP! Why does my throttle stay barely open when the car is running???

Ever since I installed my 52mm TB it has been having a problem. The TPS cruise control etc etc is all working perfectly fine. it's an actually physical problem... The blades stay slightly open only when the engine is running. With the car off they open and close perfectly. I guess when the engine is in vacumn with the car on the incoming air must be contributing to the blades staying open but there must be something else going on... I have sanded down the blades so that they are not touching the bore anywhere and the problem still occurs. This problem causes my car to idle high and not decellerate when you take your foot off the gas. I wound the spring around one more time and that did not do it. I am going to try lubing the hinges. What should I use??? I need to fix this problem because my brother just got his license so he will be driving my beater to school so I have to drive my car. It's so weird because the car will be idling high and I tweaked the TPS so it reads 0% and it still idles high because the blades are stuck open. I don't know what to do I've tried everything in my capacity...

Anybody have any suggestions??? Any questions for me to answer??? Thanks in advance...

ok... go to your car pop the hood.

pull the plastic cover off of your throttle body (on driver's side if it is still on)

next with car NOT running, grab the throttle linkage and rotate it. you should see a small set screw behind, in the top foreward most corner of the throttle body. that is where you adjust the idle. check to see if it is loose. you can adjust it with a small allen key, the hole goes through to the other side of the throttle body. at least it is on my monoblade and also my 58mm throttle body when i had it. mine actualy got loose on me and i used a wee bit of sealant on it to keep it from backing out and speeding up the idle, i was on the highway when it did this...lol! like i had cruise.

hope that helps!

Thanks for response Taner... However, I have atemmpted adjusting the screw to no avail. It's like there is some sort of weak blockage on the TB so that it can't close 100%... It closes almost all the way, even the TPS will read 0% but the throttle is still slightly open. I really don't know what to do.

Don't know why you started another thread about this. Continuing the thread makes it a whole lot easier for people to see what has already been said and done.

Did you try all the suggestions in the last thread?

Actually I tried everything in the last post and some. I thought a different subject would get me more responses.
