Help in Albuquerque

I need to reseal my intake, and was wondering if anyone on the board lives in Albuquerque and would be willing to help with this project?

Re: Help in Albuquerque

Its not a huge job, but it's a little time consuming. What are you planning on using for a seal? RTV? remember to give it 24 hours to set completely. Can't help ya with the job tho...I'm 2500 miles away...

Re: Help in Albuquerque

Nope, nobody here lives in Albuquerque. You wouldn't happen to work on Kirtland AFB at the NCO Academy would you?

Re: Help in Albuquerque

I used to live in Albuquerque but I got in too many wrecks, one of which totalled my baby. So now I live in Tucumcari 180 miles east of Albuquerque which has like 6000 people and very very few wrecks. I'd help ya out but I'm afraid to drive in Albuquerque, lol.

Re: Help in Albuquerque

I see your car every day, matter of fact I JUST drove by you on my way home. I only live 0.5 miles from the Academy. I work two doors down from you at the FTD building. Small world eh... Just look under yer nose I'm here for you!

Re: Help in Albuquerque

Absolutely, provided the time is right. You know, wife and 3 kids thing...as long as the wife ain't workin' it's usually not a big issue. What kind of tools do you need, I'm pretty confident I have everything you'd need if you don't already.

PM me and we'll work out the details.

Re: Help in Albuquerque

What do you mean by resealing the intake anyway? Doe that mean fixing the leak on the back of it that is soooo common on our cars?

Re: Help in Albuquerque

That would be the leak I'm speaking of, I'll get the gaskets and rtv. Any suggestions on the brands I should get?
