help 1.6 roller rockers stupid question

i just put in the hot cam kit and i put the flat side in the inside of the roller rockers where the locks go up is this right? or does the flat go down?

If by the flat side you mean by on the rocker arm pivot pin, the poly lock base has to be on the flat side
