the hell???

i bought a universal flush kit for my cooling system... and it tell me to CUT in the heater inlet hose and install one of these plastic "tee"'s... then drain and flush and all that... but it doesn't say how to reseal the hose... replace it??

im not gonna go cutting anything till i know exactly how to UN-cut it... your thoughts?

also... i replaced my tranny mount last night cause my other one was shot to hell...BAD

but i take the old one out and i can find a single thing wrong with it... it looks MINT, the rubber isn't cracked, separated or anything ANYWHERE... the metal part is fine and all...

but putting in the new one fixxed the problem....

what up with thaT?

It is probably too maleable (spelling?). It is designed to absorb vibration and shock....it can be worn out but not broken.

one of the kits i have seen to flush the system is a tee with 2 male barbs to fit into the heater hoses, with clamps of course and the outlet is a threaded connection. you can attach a hose here and when your done it came with a threaded plug to cap it off. Then next time you can use the same fitting.. just take the plug out. I think this is the piece you are talking about? hope this helps..
