heeellllppp meee!!!!theres no way the header is going in

Exclamation heeellllppp meee!!!!theres no way the header is going in

ok folks i just spent 3 hours stuck on getting the passenger headers in...well this is what i took out starter,valvecover,altand dipstick...i jacked up the motor as high as i can get it so high i broke the tranns mount.....well heres the problem when i go through the top the ac metal tube is in the way and i dont want to mess with the line...each time its either the ac line or the top off the head is hitting...help a brotha out im so frustrated...how did u guys do it????

by the way they are jet hot long tubes with emmision hook ups

Yep goes in from the bottom and you need at least 25" of air between the bottom of the car to the ground.

I guess Jet-Hot's go in differently than my TPiS long tubes did. I did both from the top and they practically dropped right in...no emissions hook-ups keep in mind...

so you guys got it through the bottom..i tryed that but i cant get it in...not even close

I did both mine from the bottom, yeah just bend it or hit it with a hammer I did and it fit right in

problems with passenger side

The way I got mine in was i angled the flange of the header so that it was facing up then slowly work it around until it goes up and in. If you got someone watching the top have them help pull it up as your guiding it. Keep trying it should eventually go.

i guess illtry it from the bottom...are flanges towards the ground are is the header on its side and the flanges are towards the trans??

Yeah basically the header is on it's side with the flange facing up and the collector towards the transmission.

i basically jacked my car all the way up till my rear exhaust tips were touching the ground.....then it slide righ tin from the bottom, and i have hooker headers LT's...
