heater not working

ok, i flush out my radiator and i accidently get some water on the engine bay. i think i got my opti-spark wet, so it knocked and kept dying. waited, and finally it goes away. but when i drive it around and see if my heater works, all i get is cold air and nothing else. i left it on for about 30 minutes staright just driving around. what can go wrong? thanks.

Re: heater not working

Very common for the heater core to get clogged. Remove the heater hoses at the water pump and flush using one hose, then the other toward the heater core. Keep the water off the opti.

You are complaining about nothing but cold air I wish I had that problem here in southern texas

Yea, when you flushed the radiator, some chuncks probably clogged the heater core. I had the same problem. I removed the hoses, and used compressed air to blow the crap out of there Probably not the best idea I ever had, but it worked, and it still works 2.5 years later
