Heater Hoses, a little help please
Heater Hoses, a little help please
Heater hose diagram: http://shbox.com/1/heater_hoses.jpg (thx, shoebox).
I sprung a leak in hose number 12 (please see diagram) so I went and got the hose and am trying to put it on.
The hose connects to number 13 which looks like a machine pressed metal connector between hoses. Is 12 supposed to come out of 13? cause it's not moving...or is the whole hose assembly (12-16) needed?
thanks,
-mj

Re: Heater Hoses, a little help please
You can use a Dremel with a cut-off wheel to slice open the crimped metal collar. Try to cut only the collar and not anything underneath. Then peel off the collar. Attach your new hose with a regular hose clamp.
