heater hose valve help.
I had to replace a hose on my 97 Z28.
It has this valve on it http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/crazyp...cd.jpg&.src=ph
It goes here where I have the part number circled in red.
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/crazyp...7f.jpg&.src=ph
Now this valve has an arrow on it not seen in the picture.
I'm guessing that the arrow goes goes toward the heater core?
I think that line with the valve in it is the inlet side of the heater core and the arrow points to the flow of the coolant?
Thanks,
Chris.

Re: heater hose valve help.
Whenever you have a one-way valve just blow through it and you should be able to blow through the end with arrow pointing away from you, i.e, that hose is the "inlet" side so I would assume that the arrow (or water flow) would be towards the heater core (inlet side).
Re: heater hose valve help.
Yea that's what I am thinking too.
But it's not a one way valve.
It seams to be a flow regluator of some kind.
But I guess I will go with the idea that the arrow always points to the flow.
Thanks,
Chris.
