Heater hose assembly, help its cold.

Need to fix my heater, currently the hoses are bypassed. Hoses busted last year. Is it necessary to use the factory hose assembly or is their a cheaper way to fix the problem, like just using typical heater hose from the waterpump to heater core. If not Are their any places that sell the hose assy. cheaper than the dealer. Any help is appreciated.

If it is part of the rubber hose that is broken, you can just replace that part by cutting off the swaged collars and attaching a new rubber hose with clamps.

Take a look on this site or a few other F-body ones of guys parting out their LT1's. Or call some autowreckers for the piece.
