Heater core bypass Q

I did a search and couldnt find what I needed. My heater core went out yesterday out of nowhere. I just happened to have a little adapter tube that fits both the 3/4 and 5/8 hose going into the core so Im just going to bypass it for now until I get the time and money to fix it. I know its not an expensive part but Im broke. Anyways, the bypass tube fits perfectly except for it crimps the hoses a little. Is this restiction going to affect me in any bad ways? Thanks guys.

I don't really see how it is going to matter.
