Heater blowing cold?
I recently had some work done on my car (cam, heads, TB and bypass) and since then, my heater blows cold. I have a 160* and programming for it and before this work it wasn't exactly hot but would at least defrost the windshield. Now, it just blows cold. The car does not overheat and sits a little below the first quarter mark on the guage. Any ideas? Thanks,

if you got somebody else to do the work on your car, its possible that they could have screwed somthing up. the mods shouldnt have anything to do with it i wouldnt think. when i say "screwed somthing up", i mean they possibly could have switched some hoses or not put somthing back right???
if it were me, id check the heater core, id be inclined to think it was that more than anything. they can go at any time. maybe just a coincidence that it happend right after your mods. if it is the heater core, quick fix
should be able to pick one u at local parts store for under 30 bucks.

It's not using any wtaer and the passanger floor board is dry. Would the TB bypass have anything to do with it? I had to pull out the credit card to clean the frost off the window this morning. It sucked.

Mine is doing the same thing. If you don't mind I'd like for you to do something for me. With your car running, open the bleeder screw on the hose that goes to your heater hoses. (this is the one that sits up high) See if any coolant comes out. I can take the bleeder out of mine, and there is NO coolant going through the hose. No water in the core = no heat. I don't know why there is no coolant going in there. Maybe one of these guys can help. Thanks, jason
Run your car and get it up to temperature.
In the engine bay, on the passenger side, there are two hoses going to the firewall. Feel both of them to see if they are 'warm' or 'hot.' If they're both not hot, your heater core is clogged and needs to be either replaced or flushed.

Kyle when the coolant was first drained it was dark green with a orange sludge in it. It looks like it needed to be flushed. Well anyways hope you got the problem fixed.
