heat shield/tape

Does anyone have a preference or opinion on what kind of heat shielding or tape they use for wires when working around headers? whats the best?

I went down to my local speed shop and picked up some DEI heat tape. It was about 15 bucks and I had some left over after I did my LT install. I wrapped my fuel lines where my exhaust goes by and put some on my brake lines where #1 primary was kind of close, I did not have to put it on any wires since I relocated them to safer places. I also picked up a DEI starter heat shield just in case the headers started eating my starter but so far I have not needed it.
My routing job on my spark plug wires is looking real good as I have not burned a wire in over 500 miles now.

If your on a budget the spectre is cheap and it works fine. I doubled it up. No burnt wires. I'm sure there is somethin slightly better for a higher price though.
