Im looking for some heads, where should i get them from. and what kinda price am i looking at.. I want them to be some pretty decent heads, thats for sure. But i must stay emissions legal (i dont know if the air pump stuff is build into the exhaust ports or what on Lt1s) Im looking for some power, and there is a 383 in the future. Will stock lt4 heads and intake make any difference for me? any sugjestions would be appreciated

 

For now, I would go with a HotCam Kit w/1.6rr and not the heads. Save your money, and get nice heads when you are building your 383 stroker. Stock LT-1 heads are good enough unless you want to modify the engine drastically. If you do get a cam however, you might want to port and polish the heads before putting the new cam in, that's what I did to mine, and gains, although I haven't dynoed it, seem to be pretty decent. Just my opinions.

i dont wanna spend the money on a Hot cam when im going to go with something a little bigger when i get my 383. i dont wanna but a cam twice. thats why im thinking heads
