Heads/Intake options?
Heads/Intake options?
Now that im moving along more with the setup of my car, I'd like to get some ideas as to what my options are as far as heads/intake setup would be. I already have the mods in my sig(having 3.73 gears installed next week
), and I will also be upping my injectors before my next major power addition step as well.
My car is not a track car, it might see a drag strip once or twice a year..but im really looking to make some good power of it it N/A, and smog compliant

With the cam I have below, would it at all be possible for me to get between 360-370 rwhp(or more) with any combination of lt1 type heads/intake (ported or aftermarket)? If not, would raising the compression a bit with different pistons help me get there in conjunction with a heads/intake setup? I know it will be pushing it with an auto and the smallish cam..but just curious. I have a pretty good budget..so give me all ideas.
Since I put my new cat on, I feel like I gained a good amount of power(dyno numbers are with stock cat). The old cat must have been on its way out...so i would expect my numbers to be a good bit higher then indicated below...say around 320 rwhp SAE.

360-370 will not be a problem for ya. head/intake/tune/injectors will get you there. your on the right track. i dont know the right combos.... this is the guy doing my work. great guy if you have any ?'s ask him!

thanks new z, anyone else? will a LE ported intake and heads get me there? would i need something more drastic? is my cam too small to make that power?? if not, any specific combos to try?
