What other good heads are out there besides the lt4? Im gettin the hotcam, and wanna get new heads eventually. Not gonnabe sprayin or forced induction or anything.

 

Afr is probablly the beest, but they are expensive. The are others like edelbrock,trick flow and others. If your heads are still good you should get them ported.

What sort of goals do you have for this particular setup? That cam is capable of running pretty well with the right combination of parts .

For what it's worth, with a small cam, stock shortblock and relatively low stall, I'd probably stick with a well done LT1 casting.

 

well like i said,im goin with the lt4 hotcam, with 1.6 rockers, prob a 54mm tb, set of hooker longtubes, off road y, and to top it off a moser 12bolt with 3.73s. Just looking for some nice heads.

 

Save some $$ and have a set of stockers ported. You'll be happier that way.
