heads

charge $350 labor right now for the head porting and that gives you all the porting and polishing. This includes intake and exhaust port matching, complete intake and exhaust runner porting & polishing (removal of spots, edges, sharp turns, etc...) complete cleanup and working over the bowl areas (where most power is found), teardropping the guides to enhance airflow, polishing the chambers, and smoothing the short side radius (the area of downturn of airflow into the valve). Basically everything you could want is done. I plan to increase my price to $399 soon but I will hold the price of $350 for you. You will also need to save some money for the machine shop costs. I dont know how many miles are on your heads, but the price of machine shop fees are about $150-$250 depending on what has to be done. hey guys is this a good deal it is a local guy.

It sounds like you got the info off of Bob's website...

Bob did the work on my heads and i am very happy with them, he did a badass job. For the quality of the heads i'm surprised he's only chargin $350 labor...

I will have dyno numbers to vouch for his head work after badrap's dyno day...i'm excpecting in the vacinity of 375 at the wheels...

He can also do the removal and install of the heads themselves. Seeing as your car is a 94, he can custom tune it for you. Mail in chips are ok, but its really hard for somebody to custom tune your fuel, spark, timing without being in your car and recording how it does. Everycar is different. Keep in mind if you go to a regural dyno shop, they charge $100 per hour.

If you want him to do all the work on your car, removal and install of heads, port and polish heads, and tune the car afterwards for best performance, i'm sure he'll give you a good price.

Thanks

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I always appreciate it when people pass along their good experiences.

I would be happy to help answer any questions as well.

Thanks,
Bob
