headlight motor ?

on my T/A on one of the motors there is a plastic piece that covers the gear inside and i can't get that plastic case over the gear to stay on which basically holds the gear in there tight. i tried epoxy 2 different times and after u flip the light up and down a few times the epoxy just cracks and comes apart and the plastic piece starts comming off. is there anything that will hold that on there for good. something stronger than epoxy.

I have the same problem. Performed the metal gear install twice so far , both times the cover came off immediately. Will try a 3rd time using J&B Weld.

Yep, JB weld will work. That's what I use after the epoxy broke. Just be sure to let it set up before you try using the lights.

I used 3 ty-wraps after the J-B Weld cured. I wasn't about to experience another failure
