Headers and tune or Nitrous

Well im getting some cash for xmas and was looking into buying a nitrous set up, nothing fancy, probably hoping to get it from here. But i really dont want to kill my car and was thinking of getting a tune from pcmforless or madz28 and some Mids tubes. Dont want long tubes because my car is lowered and my town isnt exactly flat.

Which way do you guys think i should go? and what are other inexpensive mods you guys recomend? maybe gears cause i have 2.73?

I'd do headers and the tune, then gears. I'm just not a big fan of the N20, I want my power whenever I push the gas.....

I would get the gears first and then go with the headers and a tune. A friend went from 2:73 to 3:73 and man it made all the difference in the world. Then get some headers and a tune. Also don't be afraid of the juice (n2o) It is a good friend of mine and love it. Have put 3 bottles worth through the car so far and have had no problems. Good luck with what ever you choose to do.

Headers, tunes, gears. Nitrous, perhaps later when you have enough money to repair everything that breaks. 3.73's are a huge SOTP mod, but I think headers and a tune are more helpful across the board.

How much juice are you running. N20 is really tempting. What rmps are you at when going 75mph on the freeway? my car sees alot of freeway driving.

Well I don't personally have 3.73 a friend of mine does. However the calculator online said with a 26" tall tire in overdrive brings the rpms to 2700 at 75 mph. So far I have only run a 75 hp shot and got the times in my sig. Hopefully this January when the track opens back up I will be able to see how the 100hp shot that I am going to step up to performs. Check out my homepage if you want to see the N2O setup. I will just let you know that I have roughly 900 dollars invested in the kit and that includeds some used parts of ebay.
