hello everyone, need help in choosing best reasonable priced headers and throttle body size 52mm or 58mm. I have a 93lt-1 with some mod's. which includes 3" flowmaster exhaust, mac pulley, hypertech chip,low therm, msd box, 8.5 taylor wires, fuel pressure reg., lt-4 hot cam, heads rebuilt completely, 1.6 r.rockers. Im trying to find a good set-up for this type so many competers out there long, mids, shorties. your response with experience on feedback, survey would be really appreciated. thanks.

 

What kind of emissions requirements do you have to meet? If none, then the long tubes wouldn't be a bad way to go. Otherwise, you may want to look into shorties or mids. Plenty of old posts on here that go over all the differences, brands, ect. As for the throttle body, with your mods, it probably isn't a necessity, but you may gain a few ponies with a 52mm TB. It might be a cheaper option just to have your stocker ported.
