Headers, Headers, Headers...

Ok guys i'm lookin for some headers for under $600 that are coated. I have found some Slp's for $590 with a y-pipe and Macs with y-pipe for $540. What do you guys think are the best buys for a California emmisions Dual cat Z28(and also the best bargin)?

i always thought they passed emmissions since they had emmissions hookups, but they never carried a CARB number to be all out legal in CA.

Re: Headers, Headers, Headers...

oh and you have a dual cat car... so if you get the single cat headers they wouldnt pass in cali either... unless your getting dual cat makes that i havent seen under $750, and thats not coated, and the SLPs for dual cats are 5/600$ with no y pipe too...

No I dont want a stock Y-pipe, I want to get either highflow cats or just straight pipe it until emmissions testing. I dont want to keep it stock and restrict my exhaust flow.

Buy the SLP's that you already found.

Re: Headers, Headers, Headers...

Then order the signle cat. Remove AIR and EGR, you get the y-pipe for that. Keep the only manifolds and Exhaust, when emissions come around, replace the whole exhaust.
