Which headers to get?

I have a 91 Camaro and am purchasing a LT1, already have the T-56. My question is which set of headers do I get, im looking at under $200. Im not looking to race but I want to throw some headers on it while installing it if possible. I saw some hedman headers for $120 but curious if anyone knows how much performance gain I can get out of this? If not what are some recommendations for a guy on a budget? Thanks.

Might have better luck in 3rd gen tech. but to answer your question I think alot of people have fitment issues with the headmas.. Hookers are pretty good if you want long tubes. I have Mac shorties on my RS and I will be keeping them when I put the LT1 in it. Check it out and if you have any questions PM me.

Well I believe the hedmans actually bolt up without clearance issues in the thirdgens, but thanks for the advice, whats the price range on the others, like I said im on a budget and don't want to spend more than 200. So besides the fitment issue, how are the hedman? Thanks.

Try posting this in the 3rd gen tech those guys will give you there thoughts on the Headmans. You could do a search for "Headman" and see what info you get from that but if you want to stay under 200 you only have a few choices. I think Flowtech makes Headders for 3rd gens too. But again they have fitment issues. If you don't mind beating grinding and bending the headders that might be the route you want to go for a budget.

Good luck with your hunt for headers.
