I always hear people say you cant pass emissions with longtubes, but as long as there are cats and its an obd1 why not??

LTs unless their jet hot or FLP have no emsions hook ups for EGR and Air, they also dont have Y-pipes, unless its FLP. You also have to add a 2nd cat like the FLP Y-pipe to make it legal or pass the sniffer. But for the most part the guys with long tubes had no emsions and no cats thus making it illegal. Alternatives have came out but its still very costly.

I pass with long tubes and a y pipe with one cat I thought it would pass because people say they dont but mine do.

Yeah I dont see why, I mean the egr thing makes sense but the air pump is only on during startup and why not put a single cat after the y pipe? Anyone else pass with longtubes?
