Headers with the BEST spark plug access?

I currently have FLP long tubes spark plug access is ok but I am looking for something better.

What do you have and how hard is it to change the plugs.

I would love to go up to a step header but we will see... Id like a 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 step with a 3.5 collector with excellent plug access( I know I want it all...)

Thanks
Steve

I have hooker super comp LT. You can take those off the list for your consideration. You can fit any size oil filter with these but spark plug changes take 3 to 5 hrs depending on interuptions.

I think your pretty much stuck with the plug access you have now. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. With enough practice you can pull all the plugs in under an hour easy. It helps to have the right socket.

I have a set of Kooks on my TA. Plug access is pretty good, having the tubular K member helped even more though. The only part that sucks is the oil filter is a PITA to get to. I ended up going to a remote filter to take care of that headache.

I can change plugs in about an hour.

Which set of Kooks headers do you have?

Thanks

They are the 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8, 3" collectors, non-emissions, stainless with the 3" to 4" stainless Y pipe.

I have TPIS 1 3/4" LT headers, so it doesn't meet you stepped requirement. But the plug access is very good, I can do the drivers side in about 5 minutes and the passenger side in less than 20 minutes (with no special tools). My oil filter access is mostly affected by my canton road race pan but prior to the pan I don't remember having any issues with the headers.

I have mac's and its roughly an hour and a half. But i am more of a paint and body guy, not too good with wrenches.

ive got pacesetters and they are way beter than my shorty edelbrock headders i had before. i can chang the plugs in about 20-25 min but i do work on cars for a living. you also need a short spark plug socket and wrench to do it.
