Which headers?
Which headers?
I've been reading a lot of posts and write-ups on installing headers. By the sound of it, the LT's are ALOT harder to install than the shorties? (also, I'm looking at hooker headers) But, what is the power gain difference between the two? Do you get a lot more power out of the LT's? And how much harder are they to install? I have installed headers before, but that was on a '91 F-150, and I could basically crawl up, next to the engine and fall asleep.
Re: Which headers?
I don't think LT's are any harder to install than any other Shorty header IMO.. only diff being the stock y w/ shorties will usually work.. it's your call.. if you do use some shorties i'd recommend going w/ the SLp's they seem to perform pretty well for our car's..

If you live in a state without emissions, get the long tubes. Or at least some good mid length headers. The mids that I run have the same diameter primaries as a good long tube header.
