headers

I"m looking at a set of coated pace setters for my TA. I was wondering if anybody has any info on them. I've heard some bad things about the y-pipe but nothing on the headers. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks

I heard they are really good man.....like almost as good as the hooker and jet hot long tubes. They have a slip fit design instead of a collector. I've heard the fitment and install on these is a whole lot easier then the other 2. They are 400 bucks from redlineperformanceengineering.com , but from what I hear you better be prepared to wait maybe 2-3 weeks plus before you will get them in. Not too sure about the y pipe, but you could always just get a y pipe fabbed up at a exhaust shop and the fitment would be much better. If you are going to delete your air/egr and cats then you are gonna need some custom tuning from madz28.com or pcmforless.com, because it will throw a code and unless you have rear o2 simulators then that will mess it up. You will also probably need 02 sensor extenders and new o2 sensors is always a good idea.

Do you plan on going to muncie on friday night June 11th??? I'm going if it doesn't rain...knock on wood.

Lemme know if you have any questions.....I have researched these quite a bit.
