i have a 93z with mac headers (almost)

well im having a problem gettin the passenger side header on because its slightly bent (i suppose).

for the end bolt to bolt up ( right under the alternator bracket ) its coming up short a few centimeters

should i try bending it while its up in there, or do i have to unbolt it clear everythikng out and pull the header back out


any help is greatly appricated

 

If you bought them new... I'd try and send them back... if thats not possible, just do it right, take it out and fix it. A leaking header can cause several problems, false knock, bad air/fuel mixtures, poor emissions and even burned valves. (somewhat rare)

Other than that... not much you can do other than get another set.
