Hey guys I was hoping you might could help me. I just built a 383 lt1 for my truck. I used regular small block chevy long tube headers. The problem is the headers dont line up to the d ports, and I feel like 1/3 of it is getting cut off. How much horsepower will I lose if I use med length headers vs long tube headers? I would love to find long tube headers but I have no idea what would fit the truck with this engine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Try the AS&M 1 3/4 midlengths. They dont lose much to a good long tube.
