Here's the scoop. I was looking to do this myself, yet feel uncomfortable without someone who has done headers before. I did headers on my 98 GTP and it was the biggest b*tch ever! I know this can't be any easier. I had help with the Grand Prix though, guy did like 2 others before mine. Are there any shops near Toledo, OH that you guys have had install your headers. There is one called Moses Automotive that is like the cleanest most reputable place around that I know of but they want like $600 to install them.

I live just north of Toledo in Temperance, and was considering having this done as well. I have had Moses do some work before, and boy are they pricey. I have a feeling $600.00 is going to be about the going rate. If it is as big of a pain as I have heard you are looking at around 8-10hrs for the install @ around $50-$60 hr shop rate. If I knew someone with a lift, I would just do them myself....

Also, you might want to plan on doing plugs and wires while you already have the exhaust manifolds off.

Let me know if you find another place. There was a place near where I work Haegle's Pro-Tech, but it looks like they recently closed down. Not sure if they are planning on opening back up when the weather gets nicer. Seems that concentrate on nicer cars that normally people don't have out during the winter months.
