Just thought I would help pass on my learning experience with Hooker LT install on a 94 Z.
The following has to be removed:.
The oil filter, all 8 plugs, the alternater, the starter, the oil sending unit when it's located above the oil filter and if like me you have a fan switch (jet switch number 60602)screwed in the block on the passenger side by the plugs.
The car has to be jacked up as high as the jack stands will go but you do not have to remove or disconnect the motor mounts on either side. It will take a jigsaw puzzle artist to spin the things the right direction to get them up there and a helper from above is a good idea.
If you need O2 extensions, there is some from Casper electronics PN 109011.
Summit part number CEI-109011.
So you don't have trouble with the wire or the boot on number 5, use the metal shield from the factory and rotate the plug boot backwards so the wire points toward the firewall and has to loop around to go back toward the distributor. Add a wire tie to metal boot and around the wire to hold it in place. Even with the full length plug, it leaves plenty of room. For those that lost the metal cover, sorry I don't have the part number at this time.
Hope this helps.
