header hardware questions??

I just picked up a used set of Mac shorties fro my Z and was wondering what would be the best hardware to get this job done right the first time around.

I have heard that the Felpro gaskets are great.

bolts?? well I am stuck between the stage 8 and the ARP's 3/4" or 1" which are the best?

Thanks for the help!

You might want to hear some opinions from guys with MAC headers. I've heard Fel-Pro gaskets won't work with MAC headers since they use the outside bolt threads in the head where as the Fel-Pro gaskets use in the inside threads.

The locking clips aren't that hard to get on. You may have to trim the locking pieces to get them to fit though.

You have to trim the "ears" off the end of the Felpros if you want to use them with the Macs.

OEM gaskets work great on MACs. I would suggest using one inch header bolts as the flanges are pretty thick.
