header bolts?

header bolts?

hey, i need help/tips on getting to the bolt on my headers... they need to be tightened ... or the gasket replaced.. there is a leak (tick tick tick) i dont really see it being possible to get to the majority of them expesially the back ones with out majic. any help will be great.

no magic, just a little flexibility. Some blind threading, sweaty palms, a little time, and a whole lotta m'er f'ering. I just changed all my header bolts, and i would recommend stage 8 locking bolts from summit. After theyre installed, youll never worry about a leak at the head. Youll need basic tools, sometimes climbing all over the place. Do the passenger side first, one at a time. When you get to the driver side, youll think it was heaven. All in all, this is a fairly easy procedure. Good luck...

I recommend allen wrench style bolts. Much easier to adjust. And easier to get to over a normal style hex end.
