Header bolt thread size

I'm installing headers and went to buy stage 8 bolts and I
don't know what threads.
The guy at the shop said they were 3/8 or 8mm.
Anybody tell me which ones?

I got some 3/8 by 16 thread for my car.

the head on the stage 8's i have is size 11, got them off thunderracing.com. I used an allen wrench to install them though.
