Header bolt questions??

I know, I know...this topic has been discussed over and over..but I am getting ready to order them tomorrow and I know that there has been more people that have done the install since the posts I have been reading. So, as of right now..what are the nolts of choice? Stage 8 lockers or ARPs? Or are there others that have been used that are better? Thanks in advance..like I said I am ordering them tomorrow and wanted to make sure before I spend the money.

I really can't see why people keep wanting to spend $30+ on a set of header bolts Heck my $5 bolts are working very well.

I just used the bolts that were provided with my headers (jet hot) and made sure I used locktite on them. They seem to be holding up fine.

A lot of people are using Breslin header bolts now. You can get them from Jegs. Do a search for Breslin on here and I'm sure you'll find they come highly recommended.

I like the ARP 12 point because of the smaller head. But I actually used cheap off the shelf stage 8 studs/nuts in most of the holes last time and they are holding just fine and they made getting the header on and lined up about a million times easier.

I think I will just try the bolts that come with the headers...I don't really want to spend 30-40 dollars on a set of bolts when I have set that came with them. If they don't work out then I may buy some better ones. Thanks for the replies.

APR 12-pt Stainless. After having a rusted up stocker beakoff while removing it, I will never not do stainless.
