Well I just purchased a hot cam kit from summit racing and I was thinking about what I should do with the heads. Do you guys think I should get my lt1 heads ported with larger valves or do you think I should go with set of lt4 heads from AFR.

 

Send your LT1 castings to Lloyd Elliot or Advanced Induction and have them work on them. You can do a search for Lloyd's email, and find a link to Advanced Induction in the sponsers section of the board.

Either will give you the most benefit for you setup.

 

Lloyd Elliot is the way to go. If you get LT4 heads, you have to buy a LT4 intake manifold too, so I probably wouldn't go that way.
