Head gaskets install (grease it or no?)

I talked with some of my friends and some of the said that is better to put some grease between heads and gaskets and other friends said that this is not so good idea.
What do you think?

grease? what kind of grease? If you have fel-pro permatorque's they are meant to be put on dry. I asked the guy at my local machine shop and he said to put them on dry so I'll take his word over anyone else's. I haven't had any problems since. knock on wood.
