Head gasket thinkness, F-body vs impala

whats the numbers?

My stock head gaskets were .050" to .052" when I measured them after removal.
The compressed difference between the stock and Impala gaskets is about .020".

and they are rated at .051 for stockers and .029 for the impys.

If my math is right, you would pick up about ~.276 of compression.

It's either 10.4 or 10.5:1 stock.

So your looking at 10.6-10.7:1 using Impala head gaskets on an otherwise stock set up. If the heads are milled down, or the block decked ... ???
