The head gasket suppose to look liek that?

The gasket around the cylinders looks out of wacked..is the suppose to look like that?

Are you talking about the steel ring not being perfectly round? Yeah that's normal.

Yeah it was, but I just realized he is probably putting some LT4 heads on with those new head gaskets, so that LT4 intake manifold came that way.

Ok I feel dumb I going to run away now.

doesnt look like an LT4 to me. Might be but from this angle it looks like a very nicely painted LT1.

Yes the gaskets look like that, they are normal

BTW, before you bolt the head down check you oil drain holes. If you look at the front left of the pics you just posted, the upper left corner is covered by the block. You will need to clearance that and probably notch the gasket just a tad to open up that drain hole. I had to on mine. Apparently its a common problem but not many catch it.

It does look like a well painted LT1 intake, I had mine powderd by Bret Bauer and it looks freakin awsome, nice work Bret.

I never have heard an explanation about that. I think it's kinda silly because it leaves an uneeded crevice there for carbon to hide.
