Head Gasket Replacement

Ok, I started my head gasket replacement without the directions I pritned from this forum. Now I can't find them, can someone point me to a link please?

I have two questions regarding my repairs. One, how do I remove the fuel rails? Two, the oil and coolant looks great after draining. Is it possible to have a blown head gasket and not have the two mix?

Last thing, in the middle of my repairs today I got a call from my salesman, my new 2010 has a VIN and is in transit. That is good and bad, because I was really hoping to fix the Z28 first. Thanks in advance.

Sure you can have a blown head gasket and not have your coolant get into your oil all depens on where it blew out.
You can try Shoebox's web page he's got a lot of info.

How are 1993 fuel rails different from 94+ rails? Once the two retaining bolts are removed from each rail will the injectors pop off the same as 94+?

The problem I see is the '93 fuel rails are different. I cannot get them off because then line in the back curves down behind the intake. The only way I see is to get the fuel lines out of the way which means disconnecting them. I was trying to avoid this though. Anyone have experience with '93 fuel rails?

Since nobody seems to have noticed, congrats on the 2010 being in transit. I wish i could afford to have one in transit.

And yes it is possible for the two to not mix.
